What to expect:

Now that you have submitted the keyword phrase you wish us to market your page to, we will begin creating links immediately. Search engines will red flag a page that gets too many links too quickly so we spread our submissions out over an 8 week period.

First:

The first thing YOU should do is go to each of the top search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc) and search using the keyword phrase you used when filling out our form.

Scroll down and review page after page until you find your site. If you are just getting started you might not see it at all, but that's OK. Take note of which page you find it on and what position your page is in.

This will give you a starting point so that you can tell exactly what progress our Linkbuilder is making!

Second:

Make a note of your results for each search engines and keep track,  then come back one per week and track your progress!

You will typically see a quick increase in ranking followed by a brief drop in ranking. Don't panic this is normal while the search engines sort and index all new sites.

Third:

Keep up with all of your other marketing strategies and you will see yourself continue to move up the charts!

Add the LinkBuilder monitor to your StoresOnline storefront. Click on the "Site" tab, then the "SEO" tab, and you will see the progress of your submissions. Click here to view example.

Once there you click the "add" button and then double click on "StoresOnline LinkBuilder" and you can view the status of your submissions. Click on the link and see the actual submissions that were sent in for your site.
